Rolls-Royce is one of the most special brands in the world for its exquisite line of models and the different forms of customization that it presents from time to time, some created especially for customers who make a specific request and others because the imagination of its technicians and specialists have no limits. This is the case of the latest creation of Rolls-Royce Bespoke, the special order division of the brand, which has just announced that it will sell 55 exclusive copies of the Rolls-Royce Wraith, the sports two-door debut of a new body paint called ‘Sunburst Gray’, under the name Wraith Luminary Collection. It is a totally flat graycolor that emits flashes of copper according to the incidence of the rays of the sun, complemented by a new interpretation of the characteristic line that runs all the side of the car, which is painted by hand, and that in the case of this edition special, it is a golden color, extending also longitudinally by the central part of the bonnet of the motor, with a motive that resembles the king of the stars. But if the exterior surprises by its appearance, it makes it even more the interior, that appears decorated with frames of wood of Tudor oak with illumination. That’s right, the wood is illuminated by a strip of 176 thin LEDs integrated in a special drill simulating the star of a shooting star, although its operation is not part of the ambient light, but it needs to be activated manually.

A special detail that combines with the interior lining of the ceiling in the form of small stars, a characteristic typical of the British brand models, composed of 1,340 fiber optic lights shining like it was at night in a place with sky full of constellations. The interior also has an upholstery seat in gray anthracite leather, contrasting with the cinnamon leather of the passenger compartment, but to meet customer requests and not limiting to a single option, it is also offered a contrast color in navy blue overseas on the back, including the steering wheel is lined in two tones. On the other hand, the exclusivity is further enhanced by the application of a hand-sewn stainless steel fabric in the central transmission tunnel and door pockets.  This technique has been applied so far only in the most luxurious yachts since it is a more exclusive nautical detail, where yarns between 0.08 and 0.19 mm in diameter are used, sewn in a pattern at exactly 45º to generate an appearance uniform from anywhere you look. The finish, according to Rolls-Royce, can not be more special, as it reflects the light of the illuminated wood panels. In addition, the doors feature hand-polished stainless steel plates with a laser engraving and the inscription ‘Wraith Luminary Collection – ONE OF FIFTY-FIVE’.

2017 – ROLLS-ROYCE DAWN & WRAITH PORTO CERVO EDITION

Rolls-Royce designers, through their Bespoke personalization division, presented the unique copies of the Wraith and Dawn, created in honor of Porto Cervo – the celebrated Costa Smeralda resort on the Italian island of Sardinia. The two models have as their main mission, to demonstrate the almost unlimited capabilities of the British brand in terms of customization. Under the theme ‘Dusk till Dawn’, the two models will be on display during the summer in Porto Cervo for a limited number of Rolls-Royce guests, and only then will be delivered to their recipients, or patrons, since they agreed to finance their creation without even knowing the final result on automobile car covers.

The Wraith created for the occasion aims to incorporate the colors of the twilight, counting on a two-tone silver painting, marked by a purple line, which also refers to the interior, where the choice of purple, blue and black colors aims to reproduce the twilight environment , such as the purple leather seats and the ostrich leather applications, designed to add texture and depth to the cabin. In the case of Dawn, Rolls-Royce staff wanted to capture the vibrancy and bright colors of the Porto Cervo sea through an unprecedented emerald-green exterior contrasting with the interior lined with green leather and shell-colored. The reference to the maritime environment is also evident in the open-teak teak wood used inside and on the trunk floor. However, the most exclusive element of the model will be the emblem applied in the center of the panel: a white gold plate, in which 1.4 carats of precious emeralds and mother of pearl were inlaid in a reproduction of the symbol of the locality of Porto Cervo.

2017 – ROLLS-ROYCE DAWN BLACK BADGE

Designed for a new generation of customers. That way the British luxury brand describes the new Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge. A model that presents itself with a sinister and sportive image. The sober design of the conventional Dawn lags behind and this project combines numerous concepts to offer maximum luxury to enjoy the air in the middle of the night. The exterior of the new Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge is a black sea where all the elements count with a finish in that tonality to create a very showy set. The luxury convertible adapts with the night, but during the day it is impossible to go unnoticed. Body painting was performed following a multi-layer process.

Another of the most notable exterior details of the Dawn Black Badge is the Spirit of Ecstasy. One of the icons of Rolls-Royce is transformed to become what we could define as a vampire, at least a declaration of intent. It also features a chrome-plated black finish that applies to other exterior elements such as grille and exhaust outlets. Inside there are no big surprises. The finest cares in detail and the most exclusive materials of the highest quality offer a luxurious and comfortable cabin. The best leather, aluminum and even some carbon fiber finishes were used. The color combination is in line with the exterior. Remembering that the Rolls-Royce Dawn is currently the most expensive four-seater convertible on the market, so there are very few who will dare to install a package of modifications like the one offered by Mansory to the Dawn. The trainer had already introduced his program in the middle of last year and now shows this preparation in Geneva. Underneath the dawn’s dazzling hood lies the well-known powerful 6.6-liter V12 engine, accompanied by a biturbo system, which was adjusted by the trainer to generate 740 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. This allows the British brand convertible belonging to the BMW group to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds, as well as reaching a top speed of 285 km / h.
